The "Parole Hearing document" was an experience that took place as a result of an extra credit opportunity. IT consisted of going to the State Prison in Bluffdale, Utah; the idea was to sit trough the parole hearings and observe what took place during the length of the review each inmate was granted. At the end of each hearing we were to write down our toughs, impressions and a brief summary of the case.
It was definitely a new experience for me, mainly because I had never set foot in such a facility, and I had no idea of what to expect. Nonetheless as I stated in the document, I valued the experienced greatly , it gave me a new insight of the correctional facility, and it allowed me to see the judiciary branch enter in action, which was part of the topic we were discussion at the time in my class, along with the consitution.
